Race History
Country Time Lemonade had a long an interesting history of sponsorship in Winston Cup competition. In addition to the drivers for 1993, Michael Waltrip, Jeff Purvis, Loy Allen, and even Neil Bonnett drove for Country Time. The neon yellow paint scheme and pink graphics were unique to this team, and at the 1993 Daytona 500, the car was painted neon pink with yellow graphics. Bobby Hamilton fi nished 27th in the Pink Lemonade #68. While 1993 was not the best year for this team with 29 starts and only 1 top ten, the NASCAR fans were always glad to see this car on the grid. This road race version of the Country Time Lemonade car was used by the #19 Hooters team for Loy Allen in 1994 and 1995. After a short stint as a Winston West car, it was restored to its original graphics and paint.
